The village of Gozd Martuljek, where we live, is located right at the foot of the mighty Špik, one of the most charismatic mountains in the Julian Alps. Our vitality returns in the embrace of unspoiled nature, with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, and with each breath of air, for which the area was once known as a climatic health resort.

The close proximity of the lively Kranjska Gora adds an exciting social and cultural pulse to the countless possibilities for sports and recreation.

Our accommodation

Villa Edelweis consists of 10 apartments and two rooms. All are furnished in a traditional Alpine style that incorporates all the modern conveniences.

On the ground floor, there is a communal breakfast room, a socialising living room, a wine cellar, and a piano room. There is also a sauna, and you can cool off by the pool outside.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft Eine wunderschöne mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltete Unterkunft. Es fehlt an nichts. Pool sauber und in sonniger Lage. Ein schöner Garten mit Grill und Sitzmöglichkeiten. Sehr Kinderfreundlich. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Super Frühstück, Restaurant mit einem sehr schönen Spaziergang inh. 10 Minuten zu erreichen.

We like the pool , also like nice view from garden and wild river next the haus. Peacfull place. Room was nice and well equipt. The sercvis was good always smilling and helps us to spend nice holiday. We were happy to stay in this villa...dog friendly hotel

Gorgeous mountain retreat with warm, comfortable rooms with views. We loved our time here! On one side, the hotel is at the base of a waterfall, with a stream running through the property. There are trails up to the source of the waterfall and beyond. On the other side of the hotel, there is a gorgeous view of mountain peaks. Our room was super comfortable, and breakfast was great. We would love to come back again!

Gozd Martuljek is an old alpine village at the foot of the Špik mountain range. Today, it is an excellent starting point for many sports activities, for visiting sights and natural beauty, as well as for countless walks in the surrounding area.

In the winter, it is frequently visited by skiers who, after a long day on the slopes, prefer a peaceful holiday on the outskirts to the lively pulse of Kranjska Gora. However, in recent years, many people have been drawn by the proximity of a long-distance bike path.
